Hourly rate & how billing works
My work is charged at £25 per hour (UK clients) or$35 per hour (US clients). Other currencies are available on request, please contact me for more information.
Because historical German handwriting can vary greatly in legibility and complexity, it is not possible to provide an exact total cost before beginning. Each project is billed for the actual time it takes to transcribe and translate your documents.
To give clients peace of mind, we can agree on a maximum number of hours before work begins, but the final invoice will reflect the actual hours worked.
I always offer a first complementary hour of transcribing and/or translating, allowing you to see my approach and the quality of my transcription and/or translation without any commitment.
Payment options
You can pay via PayPal (Goods & Services) or bank transfer. Please note that some payment methods may incur additional fees. I will provide clear instructions and confirm any fees upfront. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to make an enquiry via my contact page.
